A true Tennessee original, Carl Mann has the distinction of being “the last son of Sun,” one of the final rockabilly artists that Sam Phillips produced at Sun Records. He made his mark on the rockabilly world with his version of Nat King Cole’s “Mona Lisa,” recorded when Mann was only sixteen years old. Sun Records Originals: Mona Lisa, a collection of his Sun tracks straight from the source, features tracks like “Look At That Moon,” “Baby I Don’t Care,” and an alternate take of “Too Young.”
